Escape into the expressive possibilities of watercolor in this three-part series led by artist and instructor Evie Mason. Designed for students with some prior watercolor experience, this course explores Landscapes, Cityscapes & Seascapes while building confidence, creativity, and personal style.
Through guided projects, demonstrations, and individual experimentation, students will focus on capturing mood, movement, and atmosphere across a variety of scenes. Emphasis is placed on strengthening technical skills while encouraging expressive, thoughtful compositions.
Each session includes demonstrations, skill-building exercises, and plenty of time for hands-on painting with personalized feedback from Eve. Whether you're returning to watercolor or looking to grow creatively, this class offers a supportive space to refine your technique and develop your artistic voice.

Some prior watercolor experience recommended.

Evie Mason
Evie Mason is a self-taught watercolor artist from Mud City in Morristown, VT. She has taught beginner watercolor classes at the Champlain Senior Center in Burlington and at Singing Wood Farm in Morrisville. Evie has been teaching watercolor classes for River Arts since October 2022. She is a vendor at the holiday Morrisville Farmer’s Markets, where she sells original greeting cards, bookmarks, and gift tags.
She has had two shows at the Morristown municipal offices and two solo shows at Copley Hospital. Evie's art can be found at the Rock Art gallery. Evie's art is nature-inspired.
