Celebrate spring with this beginner-friendly watercolor workshop focused on fresh color, light, and simple seasonal inspiration. Perfect for first-time painters, this class introduces essential watercolor techniques in a relaxed, encouraging setting.
You’ll explore basic washes, simple color mixing, brush control, and creating soft shapes and textures—ideal for spring florals, leaves, and light-filled scenes. Guided demonstrations and hands-on practice will help you feel comfortable and confident with the medium.
No prior experience needed.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Evie Mason is a self-taught watercolor artist from Mud City in Morristown, VT. She has taught beginner watercolor classes at the Champlain Senior Center in Burlington and at Singing Wood Farm in Morrisville. Evie has been teaching watercolor classes for River Arts since October 2022. She is a vendor at the holiday Morrisville Farmer’s Markets, where she sells original greeting cards, bookmarks, and gift tags.
She has had two shows at the Morristown municipal offices and two solo shows at Copley Hospital.. Evie's art can be found at the Rock Art gallery and in the gift shop at River arts. Evie's art is nature-inspired.
