This class is perfect for absolute beginners—no experience needed. We’ll guide you step by step through the techniques, from forming the base to adding those charming mushroom details. You’ll leave with a cute, handmade creation and the skills to keep felting at home.

Carmella Cyr is a Vermont-based artist, instructor, and author with over 30 years of experience guiding adult learners—15+ of those dedicated to the arts. Known for her eclectic and eco-conscious approach, she specializes in historical and cultural fiber arts including Boro-Sashiko, Kiwandi, crochet, needle-felting, yo-yo quilting, and junk journaling. Carmella brings creativity, care, and a deep love for recycled materials to every workshop she leads, aiming to inspire makers of all levels to explore meaningful, sustainable art.
