Rooted in Stillness: A Mindful Tree Art Workshop

  • 74 Pleasant Street Morrisville, Vermont United States (map)

THURSDAY, November 20th, 2025
5:30-7:30 PM
Ages 16+
$30

This is a relaxed, creative space to slow down and make art inspired by bare trees and the quiet mood of November. We’ll start with some simple meditation and movement (like Tree Pose) to get grounded, then play around with ink, sticks, and brushes. This workshop is all about trying things out, noticing, and enjoying the process.

We’ll explore loose exercises like blind drawing, ink washes, and sketching tree shapes. You’ll get to work with different materials and approaches, then create a final piece. A tree that feels personal or meaningful to you. It might reflect a memory, a mood, or simply be something you enjoy making.

What’s Included • A mix of meditation, movement, and creative prompts • Time to explore ink and natural tools • Tree-inspired art activities and space to reflect • Learn how to draw branching patterns—you won’t look at bare trees the same way again

Who It’s For Anyone who wants to slow down, make art, and connect with nature. No experience needed. Just come as you are.

“They give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily.” — Mary Oliver
