Unleash your inner maker and bring your favorite character to life in this hands-on, low-cost cosplay workshop!
Taught by costume designer and creative maker Abby O’Sullivan, this 3-week series is designed for teens and adults and guides you through the full costume-building process — from concept to construction to final showcase — using affordable, accessible materials like thrifted clothing, cardboard, felt, glue, and more.

What to Expect:

Week 1: Character design, costume planning, and sketching
Week 2: Costume construction with sewing, gluing, and altering techniques
Week 3: Assembly, fit adjustments, and a mini cosplay showcase

Whether you’re new to cosplay or looking to level up your DIY skills, this class is a creative and budget-friendly way to explore character design and costuming.

What to Bring:
Bring what you can, and we’ll provide a selection of shared materials in class to help bring your ideas to life. You don’t need to arrive with everything — just come with your character idea, a notebook, and any thrifted pieces or fabric scraps you already have. We'll get building together!
