In this beginner's lesson series, students will have a 2-hour-long 6-week series led by Anah Witt, our resident wheel throwing instructor.
In this program, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of clay: background of the medium, mechanics of the wheel, and skills in centering, throwing, and controlling clay on the wheel. Students will learn about trimming, finishing, handle making, carving, surface treatments, and glaze bisque work.
A series includes: 12 hours of instruction 1/4 of a bag of clay per student Bisque firing costs Glaze firing costs
Students can expect to pick up completed work 2-3 weeks after the last lesson concludes.
