Join River Arts for a special three-part Plein Air series where artists of all levels gather to paint scenic outdoor settings, from a graceful bridge to a whimsical village of birdhouses and a dramatic metal dragon sculpture.
Each Saturday morning, we'll meet at River Arts and walk together to a beautiful nearby location perfect for plein air painting. Enjoy capturing the magic of the moment with fellow artists!
Whimsical Worlds: The Birdhouse Village
After meeting at River Arts, we’ll stroll to a colorful group of handcrafted birdhouses nestled among the trees. This session offers a playful challenge in perspective, detail, and color.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Evie Mason is a self-taught water color artist from Mud City in Morristown, VT. She has taught beginner watercolor classes at the Champlain Senior Center in Burlington and at Singing Wood farm in Morrisville. She is a regular vendor at the Morrisville and Craftsbury Farmers Markets where she sells original greeting cards, bookmarks, and gift tags.
She has had two shows at the Morristown municipal offices. Evie's art can be found at Rock Art gallery and in the gift shop at River arts. Evie's art is nature-inspired.
