Pets, Birds and other Wild Neighbors

Thursday Apr 16, 6:00PM at River Arts.

Photographers of all levels are invited to participate in the monthly Photo Coop Meeting  focused on capturing the charm and character of the animals that share our lives—both at home and in the wild.

Join us for a roundtable discussion and image-sharing experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite photographs featuring beloved pets, backyard birds, and wildlife encounters. Through shared images and conversation, the group will explore what makes these moments compelling and how to capture them more effectively.

The session will delve into both the creative and technical aspects of animal photography. Topics will include techniques for working with unpredictable subjects, understanding light and timing, and composing images that convey personality and movement. In addition, practical advice on camera settings and equipment.

Any questions, please contact Nancy Banks at nancy.banks1@gmail.com.

The River Arts Photo Co-op provides photography enthusiasts with a way to gather, promote and share their experience and knowledge of photography in an atmosphere of camaraderie and fun. No experience necessary – just a love of photography and a desire for discovery, building skills, and connecting with others with a similar passion! Our goal is to promote the sharing of ideas, techniques, and creativity through membership participation in workshops, competitions, and monthly social gatherings.
