Art Across Borders

  • River Arts 74 Pleasant Street Morrisville, Vermont, 05661 United States (map)

Wednesday, September 23 - December 16 • Please note: There is no class on November 11 or 25

This fall, join us for a powerful and creative after school program where students explore culture, identity, and children's rights through hands-on art projects, mural-making, and a meaningful international exchange.

Each week, kids will learn about a different right—from the right to play and feel safe, to the right to education and family—through projects like collage, mandalas, expressive painting, food-inspired art, and self-portraits.

The program ends with a community art show and mural unveiling, celebrating young voices and global friendships.

Please note: While some topics will explore sensitive themes (such as inequalities, war, and hunger), no graphic images will be used and all discussions will be developmentally appropriate. Our goal is to help children understand the world around them and how their actions matter through empathy, creativity, and cultural awareness.

All supplies are included. Tuition assistance is available.
