River Arts Community Scarecrow Project!
Get ready to bring your creativity to life with the River Arts Community Scarecrow Project!
Beginning September 26, twelve scarecrow frames will be up for grabs—free to families,
individuals, businesses, and student groups who reserve here:
Once you’ve got your frame, it’s time to let your imagination run wild! Scarecrows can be funny, spooky, artsy, or Vermont-proud, as long as they stay family-friendly and sturdy enough for
outdoor display. Enter your creation into one of three categories—Best Vermont-Themed,
Scariest, or Best Look-Alike—and then let the community vote online for their favorites.
Winners in each category will earn the ultimate autumn bragging rights: a Blue Ribbon!
Scarecrows will decorate Morrisville through the fall, turning the town into a gallery of seasonal
fun. By joining in, you also give River Arts permission to share photos of these fantastic
scarecrows so the whole community can celebrate.
Sign up for our Community Scarecrow Project. We will let you know if you are one of the lucky
12 to receive a frame!
-BEST VERMONT- THEMED
-BEST LOOK-ALIKE FAMOUS PERSON
-SCARIEST SCARECROW
We’ll be in touch with details about frame pick-up, voting and announcing our winners.
