Class on Thursday, August 17 will be held at the Morrisville Sr. Center Pilates-a class that focuses on core (abdominals, waist, back and hips). The class incorporates many different body weight exercises...pushups, planks, squats...Any level of fitness may attend, but as it can be an aggressive class, many modifications are offered for beginning level participants. Please bring a mat and water. The class does not require shoes.

Vinyasa Yoga translates as “flowing with breath” – this dynamic style of yoga joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. The vinyasa practice is a form of hatha (“ha” = sun, “tha” = moon) yoga designed to balance our energy system. Vinyasa classes blend flowing movement with a lighthearted attitude and a clear attention to detail. All classes begin with an offering of aromatherapy followed by breathwork/meditation, a flow practice, and conclude with a relaxing savasana.
